When you travel to Italy by rail, Eurostar takes you to Paris, where you change to a direct train from Gare de Bercy for an overnight journey to Rome, Venice, Milan or Florence. Alternatively, you can spend a night in Paris, and travel to Italy the next morning during the day.
Other cities served by direct Paris trains are Bologna, Brescia, Padua, Parma, Piacenza and Verona. Each of these destinations is a historic city that is worth visiting in its own right. You can then take a local train, or we can arrange a hire car for you, to go to the next point on your itinerary.

For a special day out, you can go for a trip on one of Italy's scenic sailway lines. try the romantic little train along the beautiful Ligurian Riviera coast, or take the train from Forli to Florence through the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine hills
